Emergency Alert Device
All seniors 65 and older are advised to get an emergency alert device. An emergency alert device is a reliable, affordable alternative to costly nursing homes and assisted living facilities. An emergency alert device allows seniors to remain in their own homes as they age. Studies show that seniors wish to live independently, and live an average of 5-7 years longer than seniors in assisted living homes.
With an emergency alert device, help is always the push of a button away. Loved ones can be notified in the event of an emergency, so they will no longer have to check on mom or dad every day. They can rest assured knowing that the emergency alert device is there to provide help if needed.
An emergency alert device consists of a small transmitter button that is worn comfortably on the body at all times. It is waterproof, so can be worn when bathing.
When pressed the button alerts the monitoring center. Within seconds, a medically trained operator will come over the two way speaker box to provide assistance.
